I stayed with Trond and Margit Okkenhaug for a few days on Opheim Farm in Verdal. Margit is an expert at gammeldagsmat (traditional Norwegian cooking). Trond is a local historian and author who maintains a data base of every person ever born in Verdal. They're a fun couple, that's for sure!
