The guys don't cook; they build hyttes and stabburs. Below is Asbjørn Sende's stabbur on his farm, Sende Lille Nordre.
This is Svein Sende's stabbur in his front yard. Svein believes firmly that a stabbur should have an overhanging second story. Note the bell tower on top (the bell is functional). In the old days, it would have been used to summon farmworkers, usually for a meal.
