Stabburer på Sverresborg

Sverresborg is the largest open-air museum in Trøndelag. Stabburs are storehouses built on foundations whose connection to the ground is limited as much as possible. This not only helps to keep a lot of vermin from getting in, but also to retard rotting of the bottom part of the storehouse. The stabbur is the perfect place to store flatbread, among other things.
