A typical Norwegian drink would be akevitt. The biggest maker in this part of Norway is "Linje." It's a clear, anise-flavored distilled alcohol served ice-cold in small glasses.

ReplyDeleteYes, I will make a little room for you in the freighter that transports linie akevitt across the equator (twice) and returns it to Norway for bottling ("Linje" means "equator" in Norwegian). By the way, linie akevitt is light brown, not clear, as I erroneously wrote above. These darned comments are not editable.
